　　GeJieNews(ZhaoJing XiongYilin)On April 15, the German Chamber of Commerce in China-North China hosted the "German Chamber Industry Day" event in Xi'an, attracting numerous representatives from German enterprises as well as industry experts. During the event, the chamber provided participants with valuable insights into market trends, policy interpretations, and investment environment analyses, offering strong support for German businesses. Representatives from member companies engaged in in-depth discussions on hot topics in their respective fields, sharing valuable experiences and perspectives.Subsequently, the delegation visited several companies, including ebm-papst Ventilator (Xi'an) Co., Ltd., Bosch Rexroth (Xi'an) Electric Drives and Controls Co., Ltd., and LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., gaining a deeper understanding of their operations, technological innovations, and market strategies in Xi'an. These visits enhanced their knowledge of the local investment environment and industrial development.

　　經(jīng)過為期一天半的深入考察，并與我會(huì)眾多會(huì)員企業(yè)廣泛交流后，我可以明確地說，各企業(yè)對(duì)于陜西省當(dāng)前的營商環(huán)境均給予了高度評(píng)價(jià)，很顯然，西安市是發(fā)展制造業(yè)的理想之地，這很大程度上得益于該地區(qū)高素質(zhì)人才的充沛儲(chǔ)備，以及本地?cái)?shù)所頂尖學(xué)府所提供的高端人才支撐。此次，我們攜更大規(guī)模的代表團(tuán)來到此地，其成員涵蓋來自北京、上海及中國其他地區(qū)的業(yè)界同仁，我們誠摯期待能引領(lǐng)中國市場(chǎng)的各界新銳，共同探索陜西的發(fā)展機(jī)遇。今年，我們也會(huì)根據(jù)前期調(diào)研的情況，為產(chǎn)業(yè)合作搭建橋梁。西安在航空業(yè)、制造業(yè)、交通業(yè)等三大領(lǐng)域?qū)嵙?qiáng)勁，為此，我們已在當(dāng)?shù)夭季至巳舾傻聡a(chǎn)業(yè)，并期待進(jìn)一步推動(dòng)其發(fā)展壯大。

　　After having been here now for one and a half days, talking to a lot of our member companies, I can tell you that they are very satisfied with the business environment here in Shaanxi. It's a good place for manufacturing, obviously, and this is largely due to the availability of qualified staff here in the region. This is apparently due to the fact that we have several high-quality universities here in Shaanxi. Well, we are here with a larger delegation of our member community—people coming from Beijing, Shanghai, and other parts of China. We would love to take also newcomers to the Chinese market to the Shaanxi region. Certainly, this year we'll provide opportunities for that. We have learned that there are some industrial sector areas where the region is very strong in: one is aviation, another one is manufacturing, and the third one is mobility. Therefore, we have some certain German clusters here, and we would love to develop these.

　　Our first stop is a digital and smart factory, and the Xi'an plant is one of our benchmark plants in the whole Global ebm-papst Group. One of the reasons why we selected Xi'an as the location eight years ago was the big number of universities here. Xi'an is the third biggest university city in China, and we hired a lot of talents from these universities here to our company. Our strategy is "local for local," and this means "In China, for China." We want to develop in China, by Chinese engineers, the best products regarding energy efficiency as well as noise for the markets like data centers, clean rooms, renewable energies. For this reason, Shaanxi Province and Xi'an have been very supportive to German companies. Therefore, some of our German suppliers have followed us here and opened operations in Xi'an and in Shaanxi Province.
