Panning Location: Near Desert Hot Springs at Whitewater Canyon & runoff.
Description: Take the I10 just past the Palm Springs turnoff. You will see the White Water
turnoff by the trout farm. Go up the canyon and about 2 miles up there will be a fork in the
runoff flow. I hiked about one mile up the canyon left tributary and found color in the sand
on the edge of the water line.
