Disneyland and California Adventure Theme Parks

The Sun Wheel at Disneylands California Adventure Theme Park is not your typical ferris wheel ride. Yes.. it does resemble one and it moves like one. The difference however is that this mammoth of a ferris wheel has tracks like the "squirrel cages" at your local fair. Add to this, the sheer size and height of your car... and it is easy to see why this would be a thrill ride that surpasses our traditional ferris wheels.

The Sun Wheel can be found at Disneylands California Adventures Theme Park, on "Paradise Pier" which is just beyond the "Pacific Wharf" at the back of the park.

Peak season wait for Disneyland California Adventure's "Sun Wheel" is about 25-35 minutes. Off season wait is about 15 minutes.
