Campground at Lake Clemetineand is located at the end of Lake Clementine
Road, six miles from Auburn via the Foresthill Road. The Auburn SRA park
office is located on Highway 49, one mile south of Auburn.

Oak Stumpy Meadows Campground
Reservations must be made at least 4 days in advance. Restrooms are provided.
Firewood is sold at the campground. From Sacramento to Auburn to Cool
Via Highway 49. Turn on highway 193 to Georgetown. Turn onto the main
street and follow for 16 miles and cross the dam at Stumpy Meadows Lake.
From there it is approximately 1 mile to the campground.

Donner
Memorial State Park
Donner Memorial State Park is located on Donner Lake in the Sierra-Nevada
mountain range. The park contains the Emigrant Trail Museum, with exhibits
recounting the tragic story of the ill-fated Donner Party trapped in the

Reservations available year round. Located at the base of the Sierra foothills
about 22 miles southwest of Auburn. The 18,000-acre lake and recreation
area offers opportunities for hiking, biking, running, camping, picnicking,
horseback riding, water-skiing and boating. Sorry, no electrical hook-ups.
