requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a
3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. An additional fee will be collected
on-site for second vehicle.

California, take Highway 4 east for 25 miles to the Big Meadow Campground.

20 miles northwest of Angels Camp, located at New Hogan Lake on the Calaveras
River in the Sierra Foot Hill Region of central California. Water skiing,
boating and fishing. A golf course is 2 miles away from the Campground.
Bald eagle habitat is in the vicinity. Hot showers, an amphitheater, bike
trails, interpretive trails, boat launch, horse trails, and fish cleaning
facilities.
